Volunteering Opportunities
The Village Hall is a charity and the Hall itself is a public community building run to serve the community of Stanwick and surrounding areas. There is a variety of community groups on offer for all ages and groups. Private events help to keep the hall self-sustaining.
When the hall is open the lobby area is a community public space for anyone to come in and use.
As a community charity we aim to involve all members of the community in all areas of hall life. If you have an interest or a skill there might be a group you would be interested in getting involved in.
Any offers of help and support with hall live are always welcomed. Please see some examples below as to how you can become involved:
- Working parties
- Planning, organising or supporting community events
- Supporting youth and children’s holiday events (CRB checked required for leaders)
- Lobby area development
- Poster design
- Marketing
- Support in your area of expertise to benefit the hall
